BRUSSELS SPROUTS.WHY WE AVOID IT:

A 2008 survey by Heinz revealed that Brussels sprouts were the most-hated vegetable in America. They always make it to the top five in surveys of the most-hated vegetables around the world. According to Andy Griffith in his book Just Disgusting:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who wouldn’t hate them?
They’re green.
They’re slimy.
They’re moldy.
They’re horrible.
They’re putrid.
They’re foul
Apart from that, I love them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No, I don’t. That was a joke.

WHY WE SHOULD EAT IT:

That stinky smell, cause by sulfur-containing chemicals, is what makes Brussels sprouts so darn good for you. Numerous studies have found that these and other compounds are significantly associated with cancer prevention. Brussels sprouts provide nutrient support for the body’s detoxification system, its antioxidant system, its anti-inflammatory system and its DNA-repair system. Basically, they provide everything you need to ward off cancer. Stop being a hater and learn to love them steamed, not boiled, to retain all their health qualities.
